Senior Scholarships

NMHSRA Seniors

Congratulations! You are in your final year of high school rodeo, with that accomplishment comes responsibilities.  If you plan to apply for a NMHSRA Scholarship, you must meet all the criteria. You CANNOT wait until the last minute to get that done. One requirement is taking a college entrance exam (ACT or SAT).  These tests are given certain times of the year and you need to register early. If you need help check with your school counselor. You also need to keep a record of the community service, leadership activities, and volunteer work not only through high school rodeo but school, church and other organizations. As the year progresses, it is hard to remember all your activities. Get a calendar and write down the information as events happen. The small steps you do now will help tremendously next spring. Remember, if you need help ask!

Seniors, this is a site that provides a practice ACT test. It will score the test for you, so you have some idea concerning your academic strengths and weaknesses. It would be a good practice before you take the actual exam.
